The decorations you have at your baby shower really set the tone for the whole party. Baby shower decorations can be simple with just balloons and crepe paper streamers, or elaborate and sophisticated; it all depends upon your theme, your budget, and the amount of energy you are willing to spend.
Before you decide on your decorations, you need to have the tone of your shower and the theme already decided. By tone, I mean, decide if this will be an elegant affair or a down-home comfy shindig. If you have a theme already, a lot of your decisions will be made for you by default. What I mean by that is, for example, if you pick a ducky theme, you will probably end up using the color yellow someplace, and the colors that coordinate with yellow.
